Welcome to New Road Psychotherapy Centre

We were established in 2005 and offer therapy, counselling & training at our two sites in Brighton and Hove delivered by experienced and empathetic practitioners ready to work with you.

Our Services

Across our two centers located in Brighton and Hove we have sixteen rooms, all beautifully decorated and suitable for 1-1 therapy, couples, groups and training.

Therapy and counselling

We have over 65 psychotherapists and counsellors highly experienced and specifically trained in areas such as bereavement & loss, anxiety & depression, relationship & couples therapy, group therapy, trauma and life changes.

Regular cost therapy and counselling

Regular Cost counselling and therapy sessions start at around £50 per session and are conducted by therapists who have graduated from a professional counselling or psychotherapy training.

All therapists receive regular supervision and will have been in their own therapy, mostly for a number of years as part of their training.

Low cost counselling

We also offer a low cost service at £25 a session. Low Cost Counsellors are either students in training and gaining client hours for completion or have graduated and are engaged in further training.

Low Cost counselling does not mean lower quality counselling, but having a more experienced therapists can make a difference in certain situations.

Counselling for Adolescents and Children

We have Counsellors and Psychotherapists who specialise in working with young people and children.

Integrative Child Psychotherapy provides children a safe, non-judgmental place to be heard and valued and to explore any difficulties that they may have. Thinking about feelings helps children develop resilience and coping strategies.

Training & Courses

We offer a number of training courses, for people wanting to enhance their personal well-being and theoretical understanding, as well as for people wanting to embark on professional training.

Our training room along with other smaller breakout rooms at our Hove Centre are also available to hire for various private events, conferences, meetings and workshops.
