Tessa Williams -
Integrative Counsellor

I’m a warm, thoughtful and genuine integrative counsellor, working with individual adults in Brighton & Hove and online.

I see therapy as something we build together, with the relationship between us at the heart of the work. I aim to offer a space where you can feel accepted as you are, while also supporting you to explore what may be happening beneath the surface and what you would like to be different.

My approach is shaped around you. I draw from different therapeutic ideas depending on what feels most helpful, while staying grounded in empathy, curiosity and respect. Together, we might explore your present experiences, relationships, emotions and recurring patterns, while also noticing how earlier experiences may still be affecting you now.

I came to this work through my own experience of therapy, so I understand how significant it can feel to be genuinely listened to, understood and met without judgement. I know that beginning therapy can feel daunting, particularly when you are unsure where to start, and you do not need to arrive with everything worked out.

I work with a wide range of experiences and welcome people from all backgrounds. I offer an inclusive and affirming space, including for LGBTQ+, neurodivergent and disabled identities and experiences.

I offer sessions on a sliding scale of £50–£65. You can choose a fee within this range that feels manageable and sustainable for you. A limited number of lower-cost spaces are also available.
