Children & Adolescent Therapy

We have Counsellors and Psychotherapists who specialise in working with young people and children.

Children may experience a range of issues during their formative years, including low self-esteem, friendship issues, anxiety, despondency, and self-harm.

Integrative child psychotherapy provides children with a safe, accepting setting where they can feel heard, valued, and allowed to explore whatever challenges they may be dealing with.

Children develop resilience and coping strategies as they begin to understand their feelings.

For some children, a short-term intervention will be effective (for example, up to 12 sessions). If there are more complicated difficulties that have persisted for a long time, a longer-term intervention may be more appropriate.

Our Service

We offer both integrative child psychotherapy and Art therapy and have multiple practitioners experienced in working with neurodiverse children. An initial consultation with one of our specialist child therapists will help us get an idea of your young persons’ needs, ensuring your child is paired with a therapist best suited to them.

The consultation takes place in-person, at our Hove centre. We also offer a consultation for parents/carers at the same time with another psychotherapist at our practice which can be beneficial - these can be booked together.

To book an assessment please fill in the enquiry form below and we will be in touch to arrange an initial consultation session.
