Evie Beardmore - Integrative Humanistic Counsellor

I’m an Integrative Humanistic Counsellor who has a real passion for working with teenagers and young adults. I believe everyone has the ability to grow and heal, even when things feel stuck or overwhelming. My aim is to create a space where you feel heard, valued, and able to talk openly about what’s going on for you.

I focus a lot on the relationship we build together. That means creating a genuine, supportive connection where you can be yourself without feeling judged.

My role is to listen and support you, while we explore what’s happening in your life — whether that’s things you’re dealing with right now, or how past experiences might still be affecting you.

I draw from Humanistic theories, such as Person-Centred and Gestalt approaches, always keeping the therapeutic relationship at the heart of what I do. Whilst working in a way to support your individual needs. I offer a calm space and believe that empathy, safety, and trust are essential when working with people.

Before becoming a counsellor, I qualified as a Youth Worker and continue to work with young people in the voluntary sector for a youth and community charity.  This has deeply shaped my practice and how I connect with and support the young people I work with.
