Evie Beardmore - Trainee Integrative Counsellor

I’m currently training to be an Integrative Counsellor, with a passion for working with young adults and teenagers. My approach is grounded in the belief that we all have the capacity for growth and healing.

I work relationally, which means I believe in a strong focus on connection and the relationship we create together.  My role is to listen, to support you, and to explore together what’s happening for you — both in the present and how past experiences might be showing up in the here and now.

In my work, I draw from Humanistic theories, such as Person-Centred and Gestalt approaches, always keeping the therapeutic relationship at the heart of what I do, whilst  working in a way to support individual needs. I offer a calm space and believe that empathy, safety, and trust are essential when working with people.

Before training as a Counsellor, I qualified as a Youth Worker and I am still working in the voluntary sector with young people. This has deeply shaped my practice and the way I work with people.

I’m a member of the BACP and my work is underpin by the BACP Ethical Guidelines.
