I offer a confidential and non-judgemental service, tailored to meet your particular needs. You may be experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, bereavement, healing from trauma or problems with relationships; or perhaps you would simply like to take some time to come to know yourself more fully.
I work integratively, informed by Jungian, Existential, Gestalt and Psychodynamicapproaches. That said, research shows that it is the depth and quality of the relationship between the client and therapist, rather than the type of therapy received, that is most significant. What is important is that you are seen, heard and accepted. I am not a therapist who adopts a distant role but will enter into the material you bring by listening, encouraging and challenging you into new ways of being and relating with others and yourself. Ultimately it is you who is the expert. My skills are in enabling you to come to know and trust yourself.
While therapy cannot promise to fix all of your problems it can change your perspective on those things that may be difficult to accept and help loosen the grip of deep-seated patterns making it possible to live well and be true to yourself.
I am a student member of the BACP and abide by their ethical framework.
