Kosi Mahdi-Millot Trainee Psychodynamic Counsellor

I aim to offer an inclusive space in which you can feel safe to be yourself and talk openly and honestly about whatever comes to mind, without judgement. Therapy is different for each of us and uncovering and talking about our feelings can often be frightening and takes time. My approach is relational, meaning that you will have ongoing support along the way to understanding yourself better.

There are many different types of therapy and there is no right or wrong – only what feels true to you at the time. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and that it is important that you have a good fit with your therapist to be able to work together towards making lasting change.

My training is in Psychodynamic Counselling which has a focus on helping us understand our thoughts, feelings and behaviours through the lens of our past experiences and unconscious. This way, we may find potential links between past and present, offering a different perspective and meaning to our experiences and relationships.
