Lucie Oliver - Humanistic Counsellor

I am a qualified Humanistic Counsellor and as a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), operate within their ethical framework. I offer short and long term counselling for adults and welcome clients from all backgrounds.

There is no single reason why people decide to engage with therapy. Perhaps there is a specific issue that you would like to address, or you may wish to explore patterns and ways of being that no longer serve you. You may feel overwhelmed by your emotions or even disconnected from them. Maybe you just need a confidential space, free from judgement where you can be heard as you process what is on your mind. Whatever brings you to counselling, I will work to understand what it is like to be you and support you as you deepen your self-awareness and perhaps consider changes you would like to make.

I have experience of working with the following: anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, bereavement/loss, family and relationship issues, identity, stress, self-development. I have also worked with women who are experiencing symptoms of the peri-menopause/menopause and difficulties related to the menstrual cycle.

With a background in holistic therapy, I am interested in how our mental and emotional state manifests in the physical self.

My fees: £50 per session/£45 concessions
