An Evening with Keith Tudor: A CPD Sussex Special Event

  • Dorset Gardens Methodist Church Dorset Gardens Brighton, England, BN2 1RL United Kingdom (map)

This event offers an informal opportunity to engage in conversations with Keith Tudor about his work in mental health, psychotherapy & politics over 40 years.

About Keith Tudor:

Keith Tudor has worked as a social worker (in probation and mental health/psychiatry), a youth counsellor, a psychotherapist, and as a supervisor, trainer, and academic. A widely published author, he has over 400 peer-reviewed publications, including 25 books, to his name, and has brought his critical thinking to bear within a number of subjects in the field of psychotherapy - particularly the interplay of therapy with politics and culture.

Keith’s longstanding contribution to humanistic psychology was recognised last year by the Society for Humanistic Psychology (of the American Psychological Association), who named him as the recipient of the 2025 Carl Rogers Award, ‘in recognition of distinguished lifetime contributions to humanistic psychology’. He has received the Eric Berne Memorial Award (given by the International Transactional Analysis Association) twice - in 2020 with Graeme Summers for their work on co-creative transactional analysis, and in 2025 ‘for revitalising and advancing the critical and social edge of transactional analysis and critiquing TA from within and without’.

About the evening:

After a brief introduction, the evening will take the form of a ‘fireside chat’ fuelled by questions from the audience, followed by answers - and probably more questions - from Keith, leading, hopefully, to some lively discussion.

Cost: £30 plus Eventbrite booking fee
