This Being Together: A Four-Part Series

  • New Road Psychotherapy 73 Church Road Hove, England, BN3 2BB United Kingdom (map)

The pull to be rooted in ourselves - our values, rhythms, needs and desires - while also opening to the people and world around us. When time feels scarce and attention stretched thin, how do we stay connected, sane, and alive to the moment?

This Being Together is a four-part series (two sessions in-person, two online) - an invitation into the magic of honest encounters.

With Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and Therapeutic Educator  - Tash Young

Embodied Leadership Coach & Conscious Relationship Guide - Daphne van Run

We will explore…

  • What it is like to stay close to your own thoughts and feelings in the presence of another.

  • How to remain true to your experience even as life swirls around you.

  • What happens when you share yourself - and how it feels to stay present with the impact on another.

This is the practice of present-moment awareness: of self, and of self-in-connection. Not as a concept, but as a living experience, moment by moment. Together, we will slow down, notice, and meet what is here - nothing more, nothing less.

Come as you are. Bring your questions, your resistances, your longings.

About Tash, Daphne and This Being Together

We are so excited to be bringing this body of work into the world.

Our relationship has grown and deepened over years - woven through conversations, shared explorations and the kind of presence that stretches and softens you all at once. It feels both inevitable and edgy that we now find ourselves here, co-creating

This Being Together is an offering born out of what we keep discovering in our own practice: that connection to self is not the end of the path, but the doorway. A doorway into one another, and into the wider whole, and beyond. To sit in that paradox - to root in ourselves and open to the all - is where the magic happens. That is the space we are inviting you into. We can’t wait to share it with you.

This is a constantly evolving body of work - alive, responsive and shaped by the very people who step into it. And yet, there are some pretty clear characteristics at its heart:

  • We walk this path with you, avoiding teaching or preaching.

  • We focus on inner experience, rather than philosophising, psychologising, theorising.

  • We champion connection and the discovery of each person’s truth within it.

  • We practise sharing our experience and what it means to stick around for the impact on ourselves and others.

This isn’t about “getting it right” - it’s about being real, being present and... being together.
