Sophie Farrell - Trainee Counselling Psychologist & Trainee Integrative Psychotherapist
Hi I’m Sophie, and I am currently training as a counselling psychologist and integrative therapist. Working integratively means I draw on a couple of different types of therapy and bring them together.
My hope is to provide you with a space where you feel safe enough to share what feels most important to you. I aim to work alongside you in exploring what has brought you to therapy, while giving you room to reflect on and make sense of your experiences at your own pace. I see therapy as a unique opportunity to speak openly about your past experiences, your current difficulties, and what emerges between us in the therapy room.
I am experienced in a variety of different areas, but am developing particular knowledge in relation to working with neurodivergent individuals, those with experiences of domestic abuse, and people who have had unusual beliefs and experiences - sometimes called psychosis.
Taking the step to come to therapy can be a big one, and I look forward to working together to support you in this process.
