About

Soothe and Bloom welcomes caregivers and their baby(s) to join a 6-week music therapy group to connect and grow through nurturing musical experiences.

Hannah offers a gentle and nurturing space where you can learn how your baby uniquely communicates with you and where you can be part of a small group tailored to each individual parent and baby(s). Whether you are a first-time parent or not, have had a difficult birthing experience or journey to parenthood, this group is welcoming to all.

Hannah is a Paediatric Music Therapist and works with pre-term babies in NICU and with babies with complex medical needs in a hospital setting. Hannah is interested in using music to support parental wellbeing and promote positive bonding experiences between caregiver and baby(s).

Hannah uses voice, guitar, ukulele, and other musical instruments to create a womb-like environment where you and your baby(s) can share these special early musical experiences together.

You can expect gentle lullabies and songs, some songs with signs, and new sound experiences for you and your baby(s).

The aims of this group are:

To promote bonding and attachment

To learn how your baby communicates with you

To nurture your baby’s development supporting sensory, emotional, and relational development
