    TESTIMONIALS:
From three of the participants at the last training weekend:

I really enjoyed the gentle and compassionate approach to training that Rory provided. The space felt safe to explore and reflect on ways of working, where our different modalities met and deepening the philosophical underpinning of Gestalt therapy. I really appreciated the focus on our experiences and the discussions these led to, broadening my reflective practice.

I felt Rory's depth of knowledge and experienced was shared with generosity and grace and this opened up an environment for honesty and deep self inquiry.
    Thank you.

The focus of the weekend on experiential learning worked for me.  I was pleased that the generous/safe atmosphere of the group was fostered right from the start.

Pace wise I was interested to notice that I didn't have the kind of energy slump or zoning out that in a days training I might sometimes get. I think, although I'm not sure, it was because you encouraged all the voices of the group to be heard and timed well moments of reflection.

I liked hearing the different modalities similarities and different takes on things and appreciated you making space for that. If there was anything I might have liked it would have been some direction to accessibile papers on some of the theory on gestalt.

I would definitely come to future training on other areas and would 100% recommend to others.

Thank you for such a nurturing and informative weekend!  A space was created where anything could be said and thought about, which really encouraged me to reflect deeply on my own practice as well as my life more generally.  It was great to have training that was walking the walk as well as talking the talk!  Can’t wait for the next one….

When a person is singing and cannot lift their voice, and another comes and sings with them, another who can lift their voice, the first will be able to lift their voice too. That is the secret of the bond between spirits. – Martin Buber, Ten Rungs: Collected Hasidic Sayings, “When Two Sing” (Psychology Press, 2002)
